VILLAGE OF KOHLER, Wis. (WFRV) - UPDATE: 01/20/2019 7:30 p.m.
The occupants who died in the fatal crash late Friday night on I-43 near the Village of Kohler have been identified.
The first victim was 20-year-old Shawnie Silas-Grode of Green Bay.
The second victim was 58-year-old Heidi Martiny of Forestville.

Friday night, Kohler Police and Fire Department Units along with Orange Cross Paramedics were dispatched to I-43 southbound just south of County Highway PP in the Village of Kohler regarding a one vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, Kohler Police Officers found that a southbound vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree.
Officers found the vehicle contained a total of four occupants.
Two of the occupants were found dead and two were injured.
The investigation is continuing as to the cause of the accident.
The roadway was snow covered and slippery at the time of the crash.
I-43 remained open throughout the incident.
None of the occupants of the vehicle are from Sheboygan County.
Officials say identifying the occupants is underway and they are notifying the families of the victims.
Assisting at the scene was the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office (including their accident reconstruction team), the Sheboygan Falls Police and Fire Departments, and the Sheboygan County Medical Examiners Office.
