Democrat Michele Doolan joins race for Wisconsin governor

Another candidate has entered the race for Wisconsin governor.

Michele Doolan, born in Neenah and now residing in Madison, has entered the race as a Democrat. 

According to her website, she’s proud to say that she has lived in Wisconsin her entire life.

Doolan is the wife of a Gulf War veteran with whom she has three children. 

She is also a small business owner and community leader. Doolan is a member of Dane Buy Local, Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation, she is involved with the Community Advocates for Public Education and is President of the Park Elementary PTO.

Michele Doolan announces her candidacy Monday along with fellow Democrat Representative Dana Wachs of Eau Claire. Milwaukee businessman Andy Gronik and poltical newcomer Bob Harlow have also announced their candidacies.
