In times of tragedy such as this, it's common for people throughout the community to want to band together and do something good.

For some, that can be as simple as coming together to pray, which is exactly what happened at the Appleton Public Library Thursday afternoon.

Some church leaders are holding prayer vigils to honor Firefighter Lungaard.

For those who would like to gather to pray, another vigil will be held from 8 to 8:30 Thursday night at The Core church in Appleton.
