Door County finished recounting their 18,000 ballots Monday night and didn’t find any significant changes in the election results.
Door County Clerk Jill Lau says that both Clinton and Trump together lost a total of 16 votes.
She blames human error, saying it mostly involved absentee ballots.
Door County did not find any errors that were attributed to machines that were used to count the ballots.
“I think it was a good process to show our machines are working well and our people that worked elections from the polls to election workers and everybody in between is running elections with integrity,” Lau said.
The county clerk says the recount took a total of four days to complete.
