Berlin Police have arrested a 64-year-old Green Lake man who allegedly threatened another man with a gun.

Police say they were called to a “road rage” incident at 8:47 Wednesday morning at the intersection of Mound St. and Franklin St. in the City of Berlin.

They say during a fight between the two drivers in the road, the Green Lake man pulled a 9 mm pistol from his pocket and threated the other driver. The unarmed man told police he was hit in the back of the head with the pistol as he walked away.

According to police, the 64-year-old was arrested and charges have been filed. He is being held in the Green Lake County jail without bond and is awaiting his initial appearance in court.

“It is unfortunate that an incident such as this had to take place, but should serve as a stern reminder that these types of incidents…can have unimaginable consequences,” says Chief Dennis Plantz.
