Fifth Graders Experience College Life at Phuture Phoenix Days

Local News

Local fifth graders are getting a taste of college life this week as part of the Phuture Phoenix Days.

The Phuture Phoenix program at UW-Green Bay — which is now in its 15th year — aims to inspire students in under-represented and disadvantaged communities to get a post-secondary education. More than 300 UWGB students will be on-hand to show these kids what it’s like to be a part of the phoenix community.

And all students who participate today will later be able to apply for a Phuture Phoenix scholarship  if they choose to attend UWGB after graduating high school.
