Fire Destroys Home in Hobart, No Injuries Reported

A home has reportedly been destroyed following a fire around 9:30 Monday night on West Mason Street. The home was fully engulfed with flames when crews arrived. . 

Hobart Fire Chief Gerry Lancelle says nobody was home at the time.

“The house was unoccupied at the time, it was being renovated,” he said. “The homeowners were living in another house in Green Bay.”

Fire crews have yet to assess the damage, but it does appear to be a total loss.
