Fire Nearly Causes Gas and Oil to Spill into Fox River

A warehouse fire nearly caused an environmental problem in the Fox River. 

The fire started inside the PlanetFreight Building on Garfield Ave. in Menasha. 

The firefighters were called Wednesday afternoon and quickly put it out. But to prevent gas and oil from a vehicle that caught fire from getting into the river. 

Crews were able to block the liquid before it reached the water.

No injuries were reported.
