According to city officials, the entry deadline for the 68th Annual Appleton Flag Day Parade has been extended due to Wednesday, April 25th at 5:00pm.
The selected participants will be notified via regular mail in early May. Decorative floats, musical units and marching bands are urged to apply.

This theme for the nation’s oldest Flag Day Parade this year is “Stars & Stripes Forever” and will honor The United States Army.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, June 9th at 2:00 p.m., will feature military units and military marching bands from throughout the nation.
It will include about 100 total units consisting of veterans’ organizations, scout troops, patriotic floats, decorated vehicles, walking units and area marching bands.
Local 5 will videotape the parade for re-broadcast in the Green Bay/Fox Cities area.
