The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol were involved in a high-speed chase Thursday morning.

Around 1:33 a.m. an officer tried to stop a vehicle on Interstate 41 at County Highway N in the Town of Eldorado because a license plate did not match the vehicle. When this happened, the suspect drove off at a high speed northbound on I-41. Officers say the vehicle had a Wisconsin temporary operation tag of N3667W and is described as a Silver Dodge Magnum. According to police, the vehicle reached speeds of up to 115 miles per hour and covered over 12 miles. The chase ended when the vehicle exited Interstate 41 at 9th Avenue in Oshkosh.

The driver has not been identified. If you have any information on who the driver may be, please contact the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency line at (920) 929 – 3390.
