Food Truck season right around the corner

N.E.W., Wis. (WFRV) -- Summer is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing - food trucks. 

Ashwaubenon

In Ashwaubenon, "A Food-Affair" will take place at Ashwaubomay Park on South Broadway. 

Three Thursdays - June 13, July 11, and August 1 - are set aside for A Food-Affair, from 4 to 8 p.m. Nine food trucks are scheduled for each event and a balloon animal and face paint vendor for the kids. 

June 13 and July 11 events will be followed by a free movie in the park, with The Meg and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, respectfully. 

August 1 will be "Pirate Evening" in Ashwaubomay Lake with free admission, games, and prizes. 

All three events will also include a bounce house for kids, picnic tables, and family yard games available to play. 

Eddie Biebel and Vicki Basar are the scheduled musical entertainment for June 13.

Grand Chute

Towne Lakes Apartments is hosting its first annual 'Fuel Up!' Food Truck Fest in association with the Fox Valley Food Truck Association within its apartment community June 5 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Fuel Up! will feature On the Fritz Concessions, Inferno Subs, and Kona Ice ready to serve both residents of the apartments as well as the Fox Valley community.

The event will also include a bounce house for kids, music by DJ Rick, and other games and activities for the whole family to enjoy. 

The Grand Chute Fire Department will also be in attendance with a fire truck for attendees to tour. 

Participants are also invited to participate in a raffle. Prizes include two tickets to the Milwaukee County Zoo, a one-night stay at Country Inn and Suites, a cooler prize pack courtesy of The Fox River Mall, four comedy show tickets from The Backlot Comedy House, bowling and food from The 10th Frame Sports Bar as well as other gift cards and prizes. 

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the event with part of the proceeds will go towards the Fox Valley Humane Society. 

The Towne Lakes Apartments are located off of N. Lynndale Road, across from the Grand Chute Police Department, Fire Department, and Town Hall. 

Green Bay

The Brown County Central Library will be hosting its Food Truck Fridays event starting June 5. 

Through August 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., food trucks will be available at the library, located on the corner of Pine and Monroe. 

Food trucks will vary each date but will be located in the library parking lot.
