Oshkosh police say they took four teens into custody Monday morning for stealing two vehicles.

At 8:30 a.m., police received a reckless driving complaint in the 3300 block of West 20th Avenue. The person told police that a white Ford vehicle and a black Chevy truck were driving recklessly in the parking lot.

When officers arrived, they saw the Ford driving east on West 20th and turning into a business driveway in the 2500 block. The four people exited the vehicle and ran from the scene.

Police set up a perimeter and the four were eventually caught.

The 16-year-old girl, 16-year-old boy, 15-year-old boy and 14-year-old boy were taken into custody for operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, resisting an officer and criminal trespassing. All teens were from Oshkosh.

The Ford Mustang was stolen from Neenah.

After the teens were taken into custody, the Chevy truck was located south of W. 20th Avenue. It was determined that the truck had been stolen in Oshkosh earlier in the day.

The investigation continues.
