FOX RIVER, Wis. (WFRV) — Summer is near and boaters are itching to get out.
The Fox River Locks 2019 fees and operations schedule has been released.
Appleton Locks 1,2,3 and 4 are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., operating on the hour.
Cedars Lock, Little Chute Lock 2 in the Village of Little Chute and Combined Locks open May 25th and operate Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. They will also be open Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend.
Little Kaukauna Lock (Little Rapids) will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will be open on the Fourth of July until midnight.
In De Pere, the De Pere Lock is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 10 a.m. to midnight. The Fourth of July the locks will be open until midnight.
The Menasha Lock, Kaukauna Locks 1,2,3,4 and 5 and Rapide Croche Lock are all closed until further notice.
A permanently affixed season pass is valid all season, at open locks on the Fox River for motorboats and non-motorized boats.
Season passes are required to be permanently attached in an area that will be most visible to a lock tender.
