Fox Valley Leaders Announcing Joint Trail Venture “Loop the Locks”

Loop the Locks

Leaders from different Fox Valley municipalities will announce the creation of a new trail in the Fox Cities on Thursday and the public are welcome to attend.

According to Outagamie County, the new trail will connect Kaukauna, Little Chute, Combined Locks, Kimberly and Appleton, in a loop around the Fox River.

The event will include an overview of the effort, trail segments, and a community collaboration ceremony.

Officials in attendance will include:

Tim Hanna, Mayor of Appleton

Tony Penterman, Mayor of Kaukauna

Mike Hruzek, Trustee, Village of Kimberly

Michael Vanden Berg, President, Village of Little Chute

Joy Hagen, Fox Cities Greenways

Kara Homan, Outagamie County Planning Director

Kelli Clussman, Executive Director, Heart-of-the-Valley Chamber of Commerce

The announcement will take place at Sunset Park Boat Launch in Kimberly Thursday, April 19th at 1 p.m.
