Get outside with Open Streets Green Bay

Local News

Summertime is a great time to get outside, enjoy the  outdoors with family, and think about your health.

There is an event coming up that encourages all three, the Aurora Baycare Open Streets Green Bay.

Nick Olsen from Aurora Baycare sports medicine joined Chelly Boutott on Local Five this Sunday Morning to discuss the event.

The route will begin on Main Street and Washington Street, and will go over the Main Street Bridge all the way to Maple Street, then will loop around that neighborhood to Pearl Street, connecting back to Dousman by Copper State and Titletown.

There will be a total of six activities zones along the course, which will focus on topics like bike safety and weight lifting.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
