Giant Water Balloon Fight to Raise Awareness for Childhood Cancer

Local News

A huge water balloon fight was held tonight at Pioneer Park in Ashwaubenon.

It was apart of the 6th annual Colton’s Cure event, which is all about raising awareness of childhood cancer across the community, offering support and assistance for families affected by this condition.

The foundation is named after Colton Steinhorst, who lost his battle with cancer after fighting it for two years. One of Colton’s last wishes was the foundation.

This was the sixth summer that the giant water ballon fight was held. Highlights of the event included thousands of water balloons, face painting, food and beverage stands, and an ice cream truck.

There was also a ballon release in the memory of Colton Steinhorst.
