A 20-year-old Gillett man is in custody following a traffic stop in the City of Seymour.
At around 5 p.m. on Saturday, a K-9 unit with the Seymour Police Department pulled over a vehicle in the area of Main Street and Highway 54 for a seat belt and license plate violation. After the driver refused to step out of the vehicle, he was pepper sprayed for resisting arrest.
Authorities then found meth appeared to be packaged for sale in his vehicle, along with marijuana and a scale. The suspect was arrested on multiple drug charges, as well as for Resisting/Obstructing.
