After a successful 2018 campaign, “Give Big Green Bay” launched their 2019 campaign at Lambeau Field.
The event featured 40 local non-profit organizations, the Green Bay Packers Foundation and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.
Last year, The Green Bay Packers Foundation, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and nearly 2,000 donors raised $805,610 within 24 hours to support 31 nonprofits.
The Packers Foundation and other donors will also match over $300,000 in funds in this years campaign.
The Give Big Green Bay day starts February 20th at noon and goes to February 21st at noon at Lambeau Field.
Matt Kemainen, of the Russell White Chapter 3 for Disabled American Veterans was at the launch today saying,
“Through the contributions that we receive, we’re able to help veterans either not become homeless or take homeless veterans and put them up, get their rent paid or they fall down on hard times, we help them pay their utilities, car payments.”
