Gov. Walker approves $3 mil plan for WIS 29 improvements

Governor Scott Walker recently approved a $3.247 million plan to improve 7.8 miles of WIS 29 from US 141 in the village of Bellevue to the east of Brown/Kewaunee County line in Brown County.

It’s a two-part project that begins Monday, August 14.

Culvert pipes will be replaced taking place until October 15, 2017.

Resurfacing of WIS 29 in the project area will begin spring of 2018. It’s expected to finish by the end of July, 2018.

WIS 29 will be open to traffic at all times during the project.

Northeast Asphalt, Inc, of Greenville, WI is the Prime Contractor.
