Governor Tony Evers to Give First State of the State Address

Governor Tony Evers will discuss his administration’s plans moving forward Tuesday night in his first State of the State address.

According to CBS 58, Governor Evers is expected to address some of his major talking points during his 2018 campaign: Education, healthcare and transportation infrastructure. Evers will also likely address a potential tax cut for the middle-class, which includes rolling back tax credits for workers in the agriculture and manufacturing industries.

Evers will address the state from Madison at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Local 5 will give have live coverage from the capitol ahead of and after the address both on air and online.
