Green Bay Finance Committee discussed what’s next for Hotel Northland Project.

A possible audit of the money given to the Hotel Northland from the City Of Green Bay was on Tuesday’s discussion agenda.

This comes after several city leaders called for an audit after the city gave the project a 4.7 million dollar loan.

The money was given through a housing and urban development program. Some leaders want more assurances that city  money was used correctly.

The Green Bay City Council gave hotel developers 45 days to secure the funding for the project.  According to Green Bay Mayor, Jim Schmitt the project will announce a  new lender by the end of the month.
