Green Bay Gamblers will wear their new ‘Military Night’ uniform for their game on October 28.

It will be part of the team’s 6th annual military night. The appreciation event honors service members and veterans. “It’s nice to give back to those people who have sacrificed so much for our country so we can be free,” Green Bay Gamblers Assistant Captain, Matthew Jennings said. 

Between ticket sales, jersey auctions and other donations the Green Bay Gamblers have raised an significant amount to help veterans and local DAV chapters. “Over the course of five years we’ve raised $85,000. We have a big  goal this year  of raising $35,000 dollars for a new veteran transit van,” Green Bay Gamblers Sales Manager, Jason Habeck said to Local 5.

The goal is to raise event money to purchase a van for the VA clinic.  

The first puck drops at 7:05 PM on Saturday, October 28.
