The Green Bay Personnel Committee will meet this Tuesday to consider a potential raise for the city’s next mayor.
Alderwoman Barbara Dorff has proposed to gradually increase the mayor’s salary by $11,000 per year for the next four years.
Mayor Jim Schmitt says that he doesn’t plan to run for re-election in April, but hasn’t yet made a final decision. As of July 10, five people have announced their candidacy to run for Green Bay Mayor in 2019.
The Personnel Committee will discuss the mayor’s salary at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
