The Green Bay Packers announced plans for an increase on tickets for the 2019 season.
According to the Packers, regular-season tickets will increase between $1 and $6 per game, depending on location, with more than half of the tickets increasing $2 or less per game. Preseason ticket prices will increase between $1 and $2 per game, depending on location.
Tickets for seats on the 600 Level will experience a decrease of $3 as an adjustment in relation to the regular-season price.
Season ticket holders will receive invoices this week which will include a brocher outlining new pricing and previews of next season’s home opponents.
Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy says in a letter in the brochure:
“This pricing increase continues our practice of keeping our prices just below the middle of NFL pricing, while recognizing the value of the gameday experience at Lambeau Field and providing shared revenue to our fellow NFL teams.”
According to the Packers, this is the smallest ticket price increase in the past decade.
“Pay as We Play” is again encouraged as a way to pay for playoff tickets for both Green and Gold package holders. By registering online for the early entry “Pay as We Play” option both Green and Gold package holders can lock in pricing for a potential home Wild Card game. Ticket prices for these games range from $100 to $128 are lower than their respective regular-season prices.
Green package holders, according to the Packers website, have the first right of refusal on seat locations for playoff games. These package holders are being asked to commit by August 16 in order to allow Gold package holders the chance to participate in the early entry. Gold package holders who register for early entry will be placed in a drawing and, if selected, randomly assigned seats available after Green package holders have made their selections.
The brochure season ticket holders receive includes information reminding that PDF or “Print at Home” tickets are no longer offered, but will be forwarded electronically to others or sold via Ticketmaster. These tickets are now scanned on smartphones in order to enter the stadium in an effort to reduce counterfeit tickets. Seaon ticket holders will still receive their tickets via mail.
Lambeau Field premium seat ticket prices are set per client contracts. Additional information regarding ticket prices, as well as invoices, will be sent to premium seat ticket holders in the next week.
