UPDATE: Bridge back open after search for person in water

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – All lanes on the Ray Nitschke Bridge are back open after officials and rescue personnel responded to a person in the water.

Police have not given any update on the situation.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Green Bay Police are asking people to avoid the Ray Nitschke Bridge (Main St. and Dousman St.) at this time.

They are currently responding to a person in the water. Drivers in the area can take the Walnut St. or Mason St. Bridge at this time. According to Green Bay Police Chief Andrew Smith, a dive team is in the water along with a boat searching for the person.
