The Green Bay Police Department says they have been receiving a rash of fraud complaints involving counterfeit bills.

The same $100 bill is being used and circulated throughout Green Bay.

The bill looks similar to the new $100 bill but the fake ones have several Chinese symbols on the back, according to police.

The Green Bay Police Department has received five reports and the Ashwaubenon has had two.

People and businesses are encouraged to check the bills before receiving payment to ensure that it is not counterfeit money.

If one of these bills is located, you are urged to contact your local police department.
