Police need the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed two stores at gunpoint Tuesday night.

The first happened around 7:20 at the Dairy Queen on Main Street, the other happened around 10:48 at the Speedway gas station on East Mason Street.

The man was wearing a blue, puffy jacket and a gray/black Milwaukee Bucks stocking cap seen below. (Scroll down for more info).

Police say the man demanded money from the stores, but was apparently apologetic and told the clerks he was sorry. Police add that he may be going through an emotional time in his life.

Authorities say that during the Dairy Queen robbery, he identified himself to the clerk as “Shawn,” although it has not been confirmed if that’s his actual name.  At the Speedway robbery, he was seen getting into a white or very light-colored 4-door car, described as “boxy looking.”

Anyone with information should contact the Green Bay Police Department.
