Green Bay Red Cross volunteers helping in Arkansas flooding relief

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — Weather-related disasters have ripped through the Midwest and southern parts of the United States and local volunteers with the Red Cross are being inspired to help out. 

Thursday afternoon two volunteers flew out of Austin Straubel International Airport on their way to Fort Smith, Arkansas to help with flooding relief. 

The Arkansas River has reached record levels and millions of sandbags are being used to help with the flooding.
