The Green Bay YWCA will be holding a community-based discussion centering around support for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence this Thursday.
Topics expected to be discussed are the recent conviction of Bill Cosby, the #MeToo movement, and resources that are available for survivors in the area.
Experts from the field of victim services and research on abuse will also be on hand to answer questions and provide needed referrals for processing victimization and securing practical steps to start the healing journey.
The forum will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event is free, and for more information, you can visit their website here.
