Hands Around the Courthouse recognizes National Child Abuse and Prevention Month

To help raise awareness during National Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month, members of the Citizen Review Panel (CRP) will host the 2nd Annual Hands Around the Courthouse at the Outagamie County Courthouse on Friday. The program begins at 4:42 p.m., with 442 hands needed to reach around the courthouse and show support for abused and neglected children throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.
Maria Turner, Executive Director of CASA of the Fox Cities and Julie Ribley from the CASA program in Manitowoc County joined Nate Stewart and Brittany Falkers on Local 5 This Morning to talk more about the annual event.
Simultaneous events will take place in Green Bay and Manitowoc. It’s the 2nd Annual Hands Around the Courthouse for Brown County and the 4th annual event at the Manitowoc County Courthouse. Both of those events will be held at 4:42 p.m. as well.
