Hanna on Mile of Music: “Best Weekend to be Mayor of Appleton”

Local News

Appleton Mayor Tim Hanna stopped by Local 5 This Morning for his Community Update on Tuesday.

Mile of Music wrapped up its 6th year on Sunday, and Hanna said it was yet another success. He mentioned how it was an amazing experience to see people from all walks of life come together for a good time, and how the police department reported zero incidents throughout the four-day event.

There’s a ribbon-cutting ceremony next week for Eagle Point, a 98-unit senior living facility located right on the Fox River.

Hanna also mentioned how Appleton was recently ranked 2nd in the nation for Best Places for Children this year.
