Three people are in the hospital after a two vehicle head-on collision along the Calumet/Outagamie County line.

Deputies with the Calumet County Sheriff’s Department were called to the scene on CTH KK near State Park Road around 7:30 PM Wednesday night.

Responding officers found that the crash happened on CTH KK about one-tenth of a mile west of State Park Road.

An investigation showed that a 28-year-old woman traveling westbound crossed the center line and struck an eastbound car head-on. Two 22-year-old Reedsville women were in the eastbound car.

The 28-year-old woman, believed to be from De Pere, was flown to Theda Clark Hospital by Theda Star helicopter with life-threatening injuries.

Both Reedsville women were taken via ambulance to Theda Clark Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, but authorities say alcohol doesn’t appear to be a factor.
