Heaven’s Touch Charity Golf Game Tees Off in June

Local News

Get ready to hit the links to help area mothers in need. The Heaven’s Touch Charity Golf Game is coming up on June 7 at Mid Vallee Golf Course in De Pere.

Director of Heaven’s Touch Cindy Guevara stopped by Local 5 This Morning to encourage golfers to sign up for this year’s event.

“Heaven’s Touch restores, rebuilds, and redirects the lives of single pregnant or parenting women and their children who seek change due to trials and trauma,” Guevara said.

On Thursday, June 7 Heaven’s Touch will have an 18 hole scramble to raise money to help them provide these services to the community.

The $100 cost per golfer includes a golf cart, box lunch, dinner buffet, drawings, awards, giveaways, and each golfer will receive a coupon for a free golf club. There will also be silent and live auctions.

This year’s Hole-in-One sponsor is Overhead Door of Green Bay and they’re offering up a 2018 Corvette and 3 other hole-in-one prizes, according to Guevara.

Local 5’s Brittany Falkers and Jordan Lamers will emcee the event again this year.

“This is our one charity event that pays for the programming for the women that helps them become self-sufficient and successful. Heaven’s Touch is 100 percent voluntary and 100 percent publicly supported,” Guevara said. “We rely on the community support to help us achieve the goals for each families independence and successfulness.”

The Heaven’s Touch is Thursday, June 7th at Mid Vallee Golf Course.
Registration at 8 a.m.
Tee off at 9 a.m.
