Hobart woman killed crossing the road

     A 78-year-old Hobart woman was killed while crossing the street Monday night.
     The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department tells Local 5 News that they were called to the 2100 block of South Pine Tree Road in the Village of Hobart about 5:45 tonight.
     Police tell us that the woman appears to have been struck by a 57 year old Green Bay man driving a four-door Saturn. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other information is being released tonight.
     While authorities investigate the crash,  South Pine Tree Road between County Trunk Highway EE and West Adam Drive will be closed.
     The Hobart-Lawrence Police department is being assisted by the Hobart Fire Department, County Rescue, the Oneida Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
