Hot air balloon gets caught up in power lines

Town of Center (WFRV) No one was injured when a hot air balloon got caught up on power lines In Outagamie County Sunday morning.

The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened just before 9 o’clock Sunday morning at Meade Street and Wege Road in the Town of Center.

Authorities say a hot air balloon with two people was draped over the power lines.

WE Energies was called in to cut the power.  The two people were rescued from the balloon.  There were no injuries.

Authorities say the scene was cleared just after 10 o’clock Sunday morning.
