Hotel Northland Job Fair Looks to Fill 135 Positions

Local News

The Hotel Northland is looking to fill 135 positions through a job fair, which kicks off Tuesday the 11th. Other dates include Sept. 12th, 18th and 19th.

Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt says that both part-time and full-time jobs are available. You can attend the fair from 11am-7pm each day at the Ferguson Family YMCA.

With it being the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, Schmitt also talked about the current status of the memorial outside the Neville. He says there’s a fundraising effort underway lead by members of the city council to help make the necessary repairs. Schmitt would like to see a new memorial by at least the 20th anniversary, but as of now there are no plans in place to replace it.

Don’t forget, you can Walk With the Mayor every Tuesday at noon throughout September. A group meets outside city hall for a quick walk around the downtown area.
