Ashwaubenon Police say they’ve arrested a woman in connection with a human trafficking investigation. She’s identified as 39-year-old Meixian Feng of China.

Police say they were contacted by a woman who answered an ad for modeling. She told police the person she talked to asked if she was willing to perform sex acts with white men to make money. The woman says she was told she would be paid extra if she brought them someone under 18.

Police say the investigation led them to sex marketing on a number of websites. In a press release, Ashwaubenon Police say they made contact with a woman who then set up a meeting to exchange cash for sex. They say the meeting was set up at a local hotel.

According to the release, investigators met with the suspect at the hotel on Thursday. The suspect was Feng, and police say they learned she was an international fugitive.

Feng was arrested on charges of prostitution and keeping a place of prostitution. She is currently in Brown County Jail, and a detainer was placed on her by ICE.
