OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) A dog that was found shot and injured last month is now available for adoption at the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

On May 6th, Anna was found limping and scared. It was later learned that she had multiple shotgun pellets throughout her body. Her leg was also severely fractured and had to be amputated.

Oshkosh Police determined that Anna was purchased from a breeder, but then abandoned in a different county after several months.

It’s still unknown how she was injured.
