NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) - Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development has officially announced layoffs at the Kimberly-Clark Neenah Nonwovens facility on Henry Street.
In January 2018, Kimberly-Clark announced they would be closing the Nonwovens facility and the Cold Springs facility.
However, K-C and WEDC recently agreed to a five-year agreement, providing the company with up to $28 million in tax incentives to keep the only Cold Springs plant open.
At the Nonwovens facility a total of 74 employees will be affected between March 15th to March 29th.
Positions will continue to be eliminated until the facilities final closure on or around May 31st, 2019.
The Fox Valley Rapid Response Team, a division of DWD, will provide Rapid Response services to affected workers.
