Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Kenny Clark has been nominated for the NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes a player for his excellence on and off the field.

Clark has been a staple in the community for the past three years, donating celebrity dinners to the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay, to spending time with the Make-A-Wish children that visit the Packers practices throughout the season.

He was also part of the 2018 Green Bay Packers Tailgate Tour that traveled throughout southern Wisconsin, eastern Iowa and the Milwaukee area to visit fans and raise money for local nonprofits.

As a nominee, Clark will wear a Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year helmet decal through the end of the season. The winner will be announced in Atlanta at the NFL Honors, the day before Super Bowl LIII and will receive $50,000 for a charity of their choice.

For the fourth year, nominees will also take part in the Charity Challenge that encourages fans to take to social media to generate donations. Use the hashtag #WPMOYChallenge  + Clark, Clark could receive $25,000 for Prison Fellowship – Angel Tree, a program that helps incarcerated parents give gifts to their children during the holidays and on birthdays.
