APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - At the Appleton Building for Kids Children's Museum a new exhibit was unveiled but it was also paired with a good cause.
The Museum opened its new Babies & Toddlers Around the World exhibit, that has a mountain slide, dessert walkway and more but it also kicked off a diaper drive.
Now through February 1st, families who bring in an unopened package of diapers will get free admission into the Museum. All donations will be matched by Huggies and donated to the United Way Fox Citites Diaper Bank and Jake's Diapers.
Arist Mastorides, from Kimberly-Clark was there for the announcement and spoke to the need for diapers in the community;
"If you think about why this is so important, diapers not only help protect and and keep babies clean, dry and comfortable and healthy but also enables parents to get out in the workforce and continue to work and it's a big opportunity for us to not only in this community, but what Kimberly-Clark and Huggies is doing around the country."
