Lambeau Field Gets Cheesy for U.S. Championship Cheese Contest

The best cheesemakers in the country are in Titletown this week to go head-to-head in the 2019 U.S. Championship Cheese Contest.

Over 2,500 dairy product from cheesemakers in 35 states are competing in the event from March 3-5. The competition also features 26 companies from Northeast Wisconsin. 

A total of 116 classes will be judged on the products flavor, along with its body, texture, salt, color, finish and packaging.

The competition will begin at 9 a.m. at the Lambeau Field Atrium. The public is welcome to watch the competition, as well as snack on some free samples.
