Local Maritime Museums Joining Forces to Offer Free Admission for Federal Employees During Shutdown

In light of the government shutdown, local maritime museums have joined forces to ease the burden. 

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum in Manitowoc and the Door County Maritime Musuem are offering FREE admission to federal employees and their families during the shutdown. 

This includes access to all the museums’ current exhibits, including guided tours of the submarine USS Cobia in Manitowoc. 

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday from 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Door County Maritime Museum hours are Sunday to Saturday 10 am to 5pm.
