Local watch parties for Badgers fans for New York NCAA game

Local News
Even though Wisconsin is playing in New York on Friday night against Florida, many fans all over the state will be cheering them on from home.
Many bars and restaurants across the region are gearing up for groups of Badgers fans to come in and watch the game.
The University of Wisconsin’s Fox Valley chapter will host a sweet 16 game watch party tonight at the Appleton Street Sports Bar and Grill.
That is set to take place tonight from 8:30 to 11 PM.
Organizers of the event say it’s a great way to cheer on the Badgers and show your support for your home state.
Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has also declared today as “Badger Red Day” throughout the state of Wisconsin.
He also offered up a friendly wager to Florida Governor Rick Scott, saying he will bet on Wisconsin cheese curds and HARIBO gummies that Wisconsin will win, while Governor Scott wagered some kermit key west key lime pie for a Florida victory.
Games on Friday start at 6 PM on local five.
