GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A few local organizations are starting Thanksgiving one day early with dinners and food drives.
The Salvation Army of Greater Green Bay is offering Thanksgiving meals as part of its Noon Feeding Program. It will take place at their Corps Community Center on Union Court from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Transformation House on South Broadway in Green Bay is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless from noon until 3 p.m.
Feeding America is partnering with Pick 'n Save Wednesday for the Thanks For Giving Food Drive. Volunteers will be accepting donations outside Pick 'n Save locations in Green Bay and Appleton. The food drive will run until 6 p.m.
The Hillside Assembly of God Church in Gillett is hosting their annual Gillett Community Thanksgiving Dinner. The dinner is free for all and runs from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
