The deadly school shooting in Florida that killed 17 people has some local residents demanding action on gun reform.
A reading of the names of those killed in the massacre was included in the protest and vigil outside of congressman Mike Gallagher’s Green Bay office today.
The group says they are protesting Congressman Gallagher’s lack of action regarding common sense gun legislation in the wake of the shooting.
They say they are trying to send the message to Congressman Gallagher to support universal background checks and gun legislation including anyone who has a concealed carry permit would have to take a test.
The group said they are sick of worrying that they might send their child off to school and never see them again.
