A walk in Green Bay this weekend is bringing the community together to help defeat this disease and also honors those we have lost
It’s safe to say that most of us know someone who has been affected by cancer, whether they are currently battling through it or have lost their battle, cancer can have a big impact.
Rachel Rupnik with Aurora Health Care Foundation & Sandra Ewald, President Of The Greater Green Bay Market joined us on Local 5 This Morning to talk about The Lombardi Walk To Tackle Cancer
The third annual Lombardi Walk to Tackle Cancer, which will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 8:00am at Aurora BayCare Medical Center.
They are expecting over 300 participants. The walk will have a short walk and a long route available.
Survivors, fighters and supporters are invited to help raise funds for those fighting cancer.
Dollars raised help fund Aurora BayCare’s cutting-edge research and clinical trials that advance cancer care in Green Bay. All proceeds will support Aurora Health Care-led cancer research and will receive matching funds from the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation.
This year, they are offering tours of the newly renovated Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation.
They will also have their Art Therapist at the walk and she will be leading a collaborative art project that will be placed in the entrance of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic
