Two men returned a lost prosthetic leg after it was found in a beaver dam.

Elliot Fuller and a friend were canoeing down a creek off Highway W west of Wabeno last week when they noticed a foot.

“I was sure we had found a dead body that someone dumped into the creek. We paddled up to take a look and found it was something even stranger. It was someone’s prosthetic leg,” Fuller told Local 5.

After doing a little research, they found a Craigslist ad from a man saying he had lost his leg.

“My buddy thought to look online and sure enough, someone in Wabeno had lost a leg,” Fuller told Local 5.

After contacting the Green Bay man, they met up to return the leg.

“We emailed him and met up for a $50 reward, despite it being chewed on a bit,” Fuller said.

Fuller shot the video above as they found the leg.
