Man Accused Of Killing Two-Month-Old in Court for Preliminary Hearing

Matthew Brown-Edwards, who is accused of killing his girlfriend’s daughter in January, will appear in court this Wednesday for his preliminary hearing at 3:30 p.m. in Manitowoc County Court.

Brown-Edwards, 23, has been charged with First Degree Reckless Homicide, Physical Abuse of a Child-Recklessly Cause Great Bodily Harm, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was arrested after his girlfriend’s two-month-old baby was found unconscious and not breathing at her home in Two Rivers. The baby later died in the hospital from injuries likely from abuse.
