An 18-year-old man is in the Manitowoc County Jail after police say he attempted to kill a minor female.

It happened at around 8:40 Wednesday night on the 2400 block of Franklin Street in Manitowoc.

Police say Joshua Radder held a gun to the head of his ex-girlfriend and pulled the trigger.

When the gun didn’t go of, she struggled with Radder and managed to get away with help from another teenager.

However, Radder allegedly held the second person captive by pointing the gun at them.

Police say Radder then threatened the victim, and forced them to drive him to Sheboygan.

The two came back to Manitowoc, where the prosecutor says Radder bragged on facebook about the incident.

A swat team took raider into custody at a Manitowoc residence.

He’s held at the Manitowoc County Jail on multiple charges.
